Flexible endoscope repair

Flexible endoscope repair starts with the model on the label and the fault you see. ProbeBridge coordinates the review with specialist partner workshops in China for service organizations and equipment dealers.

Video and fiber-optic flexible scopes use one intake. A gastroscope repair, colonoscope repair, or bronchoscope repair is confirmed case by case after that review.

Scope types

  • Video scopesGastroscopes, colonoscopes, duodenoscopes, enteroscopes, cholangioscopes, bronchoscopes, nasopharyngolaryngoscopes, cystoscopes, and ureteroscopes.
  • Fiber-optic scopesCholangioscopes, bronchoscopes, nasopharyngolaryngoscopes, cystoscopes, ureteroscopes, and thoracoscopes.

Faults to describe

Name the symptom, where on the scope it appears, and when it started. A symptom starts the review; it does not confirm that the scope can be repaired.

  • Leak testA failed leak test, fluid inside the scope, or damage to the distal objective or bending rubber.
  • Air and waterRestricted or uneven air/water flow, low feed pressure, or a blocked nozzle.
  • AngulationRestricted tip deflection, stiff or loose control knobs, or broken angulation cables.
  • Insertion tubeBuckling, flattening, wrinkles, scratches, chemical damage, or pinholes.

Questions

Can every flexible endoscope be repaired?

No. Feasibility depends on the exact model, part availability, and the fault. We confirm whether the scope can be evaluated before you arrange shipment.

Should I keep using a scope that failed its leak test?

Follow the manufacturer instructions for use and your facility procedure. Record the result and send it with the request.

Do you repair echoendoscopes or EBUS scopes?

No standing offer is published for them. EUS miniprobes and catheter probes have their own page.

Do you publish a flexible endoscope repair price?

No. Pricing is quoted after the model and fault are reviewed. Sending the form emails the request; it is not a quote.
